Bra Size Calculator - How To Measure Your TRUE Bra Size

Finding the right bra size is not just about comfort and support, but also about confidence. A well-fitting bra can make a woman feel confident and empowered, knowing that her undergarments are providing the necessary support and shaping to create a flattering silhouette. It can also make a woman feel more comfortable and at ease throughout the day, knowing that her undergarments are not causing discomfort or embarrassment. Overall, finding the right bra size is an essential step in achieving both physical and emotional comfort and confidence.

To check your bra size, you will need a tape measure and a mirror. Here are the steps to follow:

    1. Measure the ribcage: Wrap the tape measure snugly around your ribcage, just under your breasts. The tape measure should be level and parallel to the ground. Make sure to exhale before taking the measurement.

    2. Determine the band size: The band size is the measurement you just took, in inches. If the measurement is an odd number, round up to the nearest even number. For example, if the measurement is 31 inches, the band size would be 32.

    3. Measure the bust: Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust, making sure to keep the tape measure level and parallel to the ground. Again, exhale before taking the measurement.

    4. Determine the cup size: The cup size is determined by comparing the band size and bust measurement. Subtract the band size from the bust measurement, and use the resulting difference to determine the cup size. For example, if the band size is 32 and the bust measurement is 34, the cup size would be A (34-32=2). If the difference is 3 inches, the cup size would be B, and so on.

    5. Adjust for fit: Once you have determined your bra size, it is important to try on the bra to ensure a perfect fit. Adjust the band and cup sizes as needed to achieve a comfortable and supportive fit.

Remember, bra size can vary depending on factors such as weight gain or loss, pregnancy, and hormonal changes. It is recommended to measure your bra size regularly and adjust as needed to ensure the best fit.
